Yes — a free account is needed to use Sprigley, but signing up is completely free and takes under a minute. Without an account you can preview one partial activity plan to get a feel for how it works. With a free account you can generate up to 5 full plans per week. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited plans.

EYFS stands for the Early Years Foundation Stage — the UK curriculum framework for children aged 0–5. Every plan Sprigley generates is mapped to the 7 areas of the EYFS automatically. Sprigley works for nurseries, preschools, childminders, reception classes, and home educators.

When you start a Pro trial, you enter your card details but nothing is charged today. After 7 days, £9.99/month is billed automatically. If you cancel any time before day 7 you will never be charged. You can cancel from your account settings in seconds — no need to contact us.

Yes — cancel any time from Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Every plan is generated fresh from what your children are interested in that week — not pulled from a template bank. Plans include step-by-step activity instructions, key vocabulary, EYFS area mapping, differentiation for different abilities, key questions to ask, and a parent home-link message. You can edit any section before saving or printing.

Sprigley stores children's first names only — no surnames, dates of birth, photos, or any other identifying information. Your classroom data is private to your account and is never shared or sold. You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete my account.

Yes — Sprigley is fully mobile optimised. The session notes feature is specifically designed for one-handed use on your phone during activities. Tap to capture children's quotes, mark engagement, and note unexpected moments — everything saves automatically.

You can download any plan as a PDF and upload it to Tapestry, Famly, or Evidence Me manually. Direct integration with Tapestry is coming soon — tap "Notify me" in the session notes section to be first to know when it launches.

A nursery-wide licence gives your whole team access to Sprigley Pro under one subscription — one invoice, one payment, everyone covered. Absolutely. Sprigley works just as well for 1:1 settings as for larger groups. The group size options include "Just me & one" and "Small group (2–4)" which suit childminder settings perfectly.

Yes — for children under 5, Sprigley works identically for home education. The EYFS framework applies to home-educated children too, and the plans are easily adapted for a home setting with the resources you have available.
